healing buildings with legos :: dispatchwork
Wooster str / Broome Street NY (photo via Dispatchwork)
Berlin artist Jan Vormann is patching up damaged buildings around the world using colorful Lego blocks. This project is called Dispatchwork and some of the cities that have been “patched” are New York, Amsterdam, Belgrade, St. Petersburg and Tel Aviv. I especially love the use of these blocks to fill in the cracks in European buildings created from World War II bombs. To see more of this fabulous project visit the Dispatchwork website here.

back to our childhood :: treehouse style
When I was a little girl, I loved to climb trees and see how high I could go…limb to limb the woods became my playground. Here is a collection of lovely treehouses to inspire you to go back to your childhood, at least for just a moment. Happy weekend everyone!
