When I came across That Old Blue House’s Etsy shop my heart smiled! Lisa Schureman is the artist behind That Old Blue House and she has worked with stained glass for over twenty years. I personally have a huge love of vintage quilts ever since I was young. My grandmother used to make them and I think this lovely pieces of jewelry with textile treasures inside is a great way to give a bride “something old, something new” for her wedding day! Lisa’s jewelry has been featured in Lucky Magazine, Anthropologie, Quilters Home Magazine, The Quilter Magazine, And Quiltmaker Magazine. I especially love her button necklaces and earrings. Happy Wednesday all! I’m super excited about this week because I was accepted into the LoPop Shop that will be taking place inside of Raleigh’s Artspace this First Friday! If you are asking “What is LoPop Shop?” then that’s easy! LoPop Shop primarily highlights regional artists from North Carolina and is an opportunity to buy original works, shirts, posters, and more! I attended this annual show last year and they had some really fantastic artists and designers and I’m VERY EXCITED to be a part of this event!
