Happy Monday all! I’m super excited to announce a couple of great things that are going on behind the scenes here at Ever So Lovely! First off, I wanted to thank you for all of your support of ESL over the last year. I enjoy reading all of your comments, emails and all of the submissions you send over to be a part of the blog. I’m pretty proud of what path Ever So Lovely is taking and all of the steps along the way you guys have been there with me.

This leads me to my first announcement: Ever So Lovely reached 600 facebook fans last week! I am so excited and cannot wait to connect with 700, 800, 900 and 1,000 fans! So a big huge thank you to all that have become fans of ESL. You ROCK!

My second big announcement is that Ever So Lovely will be a vendor at Crafty Feast this year! I’m over the moon with excitement to be in this show again. It will be my third time as a vendor and this juried show gets bigger and better each year. The last two times I participated as Creativ*Bee but this will be the debut of Ever So Lovely in South Carolina so this show will be pretty special for me.

This year I was selected to be one of 100 artists that will be selling their designs on the lovely streets of downtown Columbia, South Carolina and if you have never visited this city, you have to! It’s pretty awesome and full of exciting things and a wonderful community that supports the arts. Even better, Crafty Feast will be happening the same time as the Indie Grits Film Festival so you’ll have two opportunities to be exposed to the arts! Crafty Feast will take place on April 16, 2011 from 11am-6pm so mark your calendars!

My third big announcement comes in two parts. Part one is a re-branding of Ever So Lovely and Part two is a new adventure altogether. For the re-branding, Ever So Lovely (the blog) is currently undergoing a design face lift and I am soooo excited to share this with you very soon. The blog design has had the same look for the past year and a half and I think it’s time for a change. The bugs are still being worked out but I think you’ll like it and will let you know when the new look goes live.

For part 2 of the new adventure, Ever So Lovely is moving to the next level. I’ve worked in Design and Marketing for thirteen years and since I’m very passionate about offering great design to businesses I would like to officially announce Ever So Lovely, Inc. This side of my company will offer Graphic Design services for both small and large businesses. Everything from re-branding your business, to logo design, print and web design, along with custom illustration will be offered. I’m VERY EXCITED about this new path for ESL and I hope you will be too! There will be a separate website to connect with the studio for all of your design needs. You can find that over at EverSoLovelyDesign.com which is launched but I’ll be updating the portfolio and other info soon!

Hi all – So there will not be a post on Friday since Ever So Lovely is participating in the Bloggers Day of Silence for Japan. Please join us in this amazing project FOR JAPAN WITH LOVE to raise awareness & funds for Japan. As I type this, $18,000 has been raised already to help the people harmed by this devastation. Ever little bit helps and we need your support.

Who doesn’t love the combination of wood and typography? I’m swooning over these handmade signs by designer William Dohman. He creates these lovely works of type from recycled wood in different colors and fonts. Not only are they great for your home but they would be perfect as props for your wedding!
